Updating my iPhone

Hi,

I'd like to update to 3.1.2 with a clean restore of my iPhone.
After that I of course want to be able to continue with my old iGangster profile after the clean install on my iPhone.

Is there a way to export your profile an be able to import it back again in more than 5 minutes?

That is not needed. Export is for moving to a different device.

Your iGangster account will stay intact. (unless you are jailbraked and have changed your udid).

Your profile is stored on the server not on your device so restoring won't effect it

Regarding to this:

I'm afraid the answer I have in my head is the right one but:

When I would send my iphone to apple cause its broken, I will get a new phone back (they hardly repair in my experience.)
Will there be any chance to get my own profile back on a new phone?

generally you have to transfer your account before getting rid of the old phone which usually means you need to have both phones to do so. i think. i know due to previous conversations you need to have your udid/uuid whichever it is in order to transfer because otherwise you could just be stealing someone elses account.

if you tell vtx what happened and ask him to switch your game over to a new devise i'm thinking he can find a way... if you ask nice and have all the proper info needed of course.

Do I understand correctly that when I used to sync my iPhone to a pc and now, since I bougt a Mac, I want to reset my (same) iPhone and than sync it to my Mac, all the iGangster data will be saved on your servers so I can continue to play where I left of?
